Notice of Water Rate Increase Starting January 2024

St. John’s Water Company, Inc. (SJWC) strives to keep the cost of water from increasing to the membership. However, due to an increase in the cost of water we purchase from Charleston Water System, it is necessary for SJWC to increase its water rates 16 cents per 1,000 gallons of water used to cover the cost of the Charleston Water System increase. The new rate will be effective with your January 2024 water usage, which will be reflected in the bill you receive at the end of January or early February 2024.
