We were chartered in May 1975 as a private non-profit utility company to provide potable water service to the residents of Johns Island, South Carolina.
St. John's Water Company, Inc. purchases its water from Charleston Water System. We serve water to both City of Charleston and Charleston County areas of Johns Island, and we also sell water to Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island.
St. John's Water Company, Inc. provides water service only. We do not provide wastewater service.
Some areas of Johns Island have wastewater service through either Charleston Water System or Seabrook Island Utility Commission. Please contact those entities for information about wastewater service.
